Online Production Reporting

WELCOME PRODUCERS
(http://mhst.wvlink.com)

The West Virginia Office of Miners' Health, Safety and Training is responsible for the enforcement of the West Virginia Mine Safety Laws and Regulations (Chapter 22A Code of WV). As part of that responsibility, production reports are filed with this office
Production reports are filed quarterly by the operators for each mine.  The law gives them 31 days from the end of the reporting quarter to file.  The reports have to be posted in our office and data compiled and loaded to the website.
To facilitate the filing process, an operator may be able to file reports on line.
If you have been approved to file reports on line, please login by clicking on the button at the bottom right of this page.
If you would like to submit a request to enter reports on line, please click on the button below to make that request.
If you submit an online report, please do NOT also mail or fax a paper copy to MHST.

It is your responsibility to ensure that your list of approved operations is up to date. A permit not being on the drop down list will NOT exempt you from receiving a failure-to-report violation. If a permit is missing from the drop-down list, scroll down to the Links box on your portal page and click the Request a Change to Your Approved Company List link to add the missing operation.
